Pepperdine Graziadio Business School was looking to increase student enrollment in innovative ways.  I was tasked to identify these new innovative opportunities by pursuing a strategic partnership with AEG (Anschutz Entertainment Group).  I identified, developed and was instrumental in securing the AEG partnership with Pepperdine University as an exclusive educational partner of STAPLES Center, LA LIVE, and the LA Kings, the first-of-its-kind.


The exclusive educational partnership included:

  • Partnership discussions and contract negotiations
  • Exclusive Pepperdine Sports & Entertainment management programs – cultivating the next generation of executives
    • MBA concentration in entertainment, media, & sports management
    • LLM in entertainment, media, and sports law
  • Branded Pepperdine Classroom within STAPLES Center providing a strategic education location in LA’s vibrant business comunity
  • “Best-in-class” speaker series
  • Opportunity to collaborate to produce sports, music, entertainment and business conference
  • Employee integration and internship program
  • Developing a series of events and custom content with the LA Kings
  • Hosting Pepperdine Alumni networking nights at one of the 250 STAPLES Center events
